DS18B20 temperature sensor is valuable in GPS tracking devices for monitoring and maintaining optimal operating temperatures, ensuring device reliability, and providing protection against over-temperature conditions. Its digital output, low power consumption, and unique addressing capabilities make it an ideal choice for integration into GPS tracking systems.
Each DS18B20 sensor has a unique 64-bit hardware address, allowing individual identification and communication with each sensor when multiple sensors are used within the GPS tracking device .
