The NTC sensor is a type of thermistor, which is a temperature-sensitive resistor. It is made from a semi-conductive ceramic material that exhibits a decrease in resistance as the temperature increases.
It can placed in the water heating system of the coffee machine. It continuously monitors the temperature of the water as it is heated up for brewing.
NTC sensors also contribute to the safety and efficiency of the coffee machine. They can detect if the machine is overheating and trigger safety mechanisms to prevent damage. Additionally, by ensuring that the water is not heated unnecessarily, they help conserve energy.
